The quick answer
There is no single meaningful price for every Los Angeles property. A useful quote identifies the systems, components, access and condition involved. PAC provides property-specific estimates so you can review the work before booking.
What changes the scope and price?
Two homes with the same floor area may have different equipment and duct layouts. A commercial property may also need tenant coordination, roof access or phased work. Give each company the same information when comparing proposals.
- Number and type of HVAC systems
- Supply and return ductwork included
- Registers, plenums, blowers and coils included or separate
- Access, duct material and existing condition
- Any dryer-exhaust or additional service
- Documentation and work-window requirements
Compare totals, not just a starting offer
Ask what the advertised amount covers and what can trigger an additional charge. Request written approval before added work begins. A low starting price is difficult to assess when major components are excluded. A higher quote may still need explanation if its scope is unclear.
Use a simple comparison worksheet
For each proposal, record the systems covered, components, exclusions, price, appointment window and how changes are authorized. Add the documentation promised at completion. Do not treat a claim of guaranteed savings or medical benefits as a substitute for a defined service scope.
Get a useful PAC estimate
Start with your address, property type and the concern you want assessed. If you know the equipment count, include it. Mention building-management rules or difficult access. We will help establish whether an on-site assessment is needed before the work can be priced.
