START WITH YOUR HOME, NOT A PACKAGESmoke exposure.
Remodel dust.
Different questions.
Tell Pure Air California what happened, what you can see and where the equipment is located. The next step may be a duct inspection, a cleaning estimate, a filter discussion or a referral for a different type of assessment. We define the accessible systems and suitable work before cleaning.
After smoke or ash exposure
Describe visible deposits, odors and any known building damage. Do not disturb suspected hazardous debris. Follow local re-entry guidance and involve qualified restoration professionals when fire damage or contamination extends beyond the ducts.
After renovation
Identify the rooms remodeled, whether the HVAC ran during the work, and visible dust at returns or registers. Include accessible blower, coil and filter components in the assessment rather than assuming the ductwork is the only source.
HILLSIDE & CANYON ACCESSThe route to the equipment matters.
- Driveways and stairs: share parking limitations, exterior steps and the distance to each air handler.
- Multiple zones: list separate systems serving different floors, additions or guest spaces.
- Attics and crawlspaces: describe access openings and known material damage; do not enter unsafe spaces to collect information.
- Finishes and older ductwork: flag delicate registers, custom interiors and duct materials so the proposed method can be reviewed.
Coverage and equipment access are confirmed for your address before scheduling. Do not post gate codes, occupancy details or private property plans publicly.
WHAT TO EXPECTInspect. Define. Agree.
- Share your observations. Your city, system count if known, recent events and visible conditions help us prepare.
- Review the system. Identify accessible ducts, equipment, materials and any signs that call for a different specialist.
- Confirm the scope and price. Name the parts to be cleaned, access limitations, exclusions and any proposed treatments.
- Discuss completion and follow-up. Ask what photographs or observations can be provided and what remains outside the cleaning scope.
Residential air duct cleaning starts at $299 for eligible scopes; dryer vent cleaning starts at $149. These are planning starting points, not a fixed quote for smoke-affected or complex properties. See pricing and scope details.
